I often get completely lost in my internet travels. Sometimes this can be a very bad thing, resulting in hours of weird cat videos on YouTube or getting sucked into Courtney Love’s various Twitter wars. But sometimes, my internet wandering through link after link can take me to a very happy place. Such is the case here, when I stumbled upon local artist Rachel Ann Austin’s paintings. The work is lovely in its current state, but my obsession with them goes deeper. When I look at these, all I can think is what beautiful fabric they would make. Print them on a gorgeous, sheer silk and wrap me up in it!
