With a name like Soft Surroundings, you'd think the new Bridgeport Village store would place comfort over style, but a spin around the shop reveals a dizzying array of apparel, beauty, and home items that are as chic as they are snuggly. From plush knee socks and indulgent robes to French-inspired furniture you want to curl up in and an entire corner filled with natural beauty products we love, Soft Surroundings offers way more than sweaters and sheets. 

The Bridgeport Village store—which celebrated its grand opening in November with a line of eager shoppings wrapping around the block (in the rain!)—is the national brand's first location west of the Rockies. The shop joins a handful of new stores at the upscale shopping center, including beauty retailer Bluemercury, build-your-own pizza shop Pizzasmith from the owners of Portland's Pastini Pastaria, and a second location of the Pearl District's Blowout blow dry bar—just in time for holiday shopping.
