Skibowl’s Cosmic Tubing Gets an Upgrade

With snow just a whiff away, Skibowl gears up for a busy season at its newly revamped Adventure Center.

We’re still waiting for the white stuff to arrive on Hood, but when it does, get your glow sticks ready. With an additional quarter-million dollars in improvements, Skibowl is amping up its Adventure Park and Cosmic Tubing from a bit of evening fun to an all-out nighttime party.

This year, Skibowl debuts a live DJ spinning from the mountain top over a brand new audio system while additional laser lights, black lights, and flood lights (four times more than last year!) brighten up the slope in a pulsating display of neon, snow, and endorphins. Too tired to tow your tube up the hill? Hitch a ride on Skibowl’s new conveyor lift, which will carry you and your tube to the top. Skibowl has also added a zipline and a big deck where you can rest when you run out of gas.

Open Friday, Saturday, and holiday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. (once the snow shows up), Cosmic Tubing rates start at $25, but you can rent the whole hill for private parties that include pick-up anywhere around the state.
