Twin Peaks enthusiasts who have been holding their collective breath waiting for the rumored Netflix revival (CCO Ted Sarandos said the company is “absolutely” interested) can let it out—for a weekend at least—and get their fix by traveling to North Bend, Washington, for the 21st annual Twin Peaks Fest (August 2–4).

The intimate festival (about 150 people attend each year) features a handful of celebrity guests—this year, the beloved Log Lady will make an appearance—a David Lynch film night, a bus tour of filming locations, a picnic lunch, and more. And, of course, that breathtaking Pacific Northwestern scenery the series was celebrated for.

You can also test your Twin Peaks knowledge at the trivia contest, dress as your favorite character (or inanimate object) for the costume contest, or try your hand at the “Tibetan method” of deduction in the Tibetan rock throw contest. And, if you dare, visit the “fan favorite” Black Lodge—a re-creation of the iconic set from the show.

You can add a dose of authenticity to the trip by booking a room at The Salish Lodge (the exterior of the show’s Great Northern Hotel) in Snoqualmie or The Fall City Inn (exterior of biker bar the Roadhouse) in Fall City. Stop by Twede’s Café (the original set of the show’s Double R Diner) to get Agent Cooper’s favorite black coffee and cherry pie.

What to bring? “A camera,” says festival organizer Rob Lindley (who, along with wife Deanne, is taking the helm for the first time this year). "You'll want to keep these memories forever."
