The Tu Tu' Tun Lodge in Gold Beach, Oregon—#8 on Conde Nast's 2015 list of Top Hotels in the Northwest

Every year, Conde Nast Traveler releases a vast gallery of Travel Awards, driven by an epic reader poll. This year, more than 128,000 travelers contributed to the magazine's 28th annual survey, voting on everything from the Best Hotels & Resorts in the World to the Best Islands in the World, the Best Small Cities in the U.S., and the Best International Airlines. Sure, it's aspirational reading—but you could easily spend a solid day with this list of far-flung, drool-worthy destinations, including grand castles in the Irish countryside and elegant tented safari camps in the Serengeti.

For us Oregonians, the list of the Top 20 Hotels in the Pacific Northwest has special significance. This year, 10 of the top 20 picks in the region are scattered across Oregon, from Portland to Gold Beach, including the list's top three vote-getters. Below, the Oregon hotels that made the list:

#1 The Oxford Hotel, Bend

#2 Hotel deLuxe, Portland

#3 The Allison Inn & Spa, Newberg

#6 Hotel Lucia, Portland

#8 Tu Tu' Tun Lodge, Gold Beach

#9 Stephanie Inn, Cannon Beach

#11 Sentinel Hotel, Portland

#13 The Nines, Portland

#16 Hotel Monaco, Portland

#20 The Heathman Hotel, Portland

Of course, such lists are built on a classically inexact science, but we're happy to see some of our favorite Oregon destinations in the spotlight. What'd they miss?
