This Memorial Day Weekend, cozy up with a bottle at the SE Wine Collective.

Elysian Brewing Tap Takeover Night at 15th Avenue Hophouse 

What: Sample new and rare Seattle brews from Elysian Brewing as they take over 12 taps at the Hophouse for one night only. Beers on tap include the “Oddland” Peppercorn Saison and the Krokus Sour Saffron Wheat.
When: Wednesday, May 22 from 5 pm to close.
Where: 15th Avenue Hophouse, 1517 NE Brazee St
How Much: Free beer samples with special pricing on select pints and flights. 

Mix.Sip.Grub (MSG) at Wildwood

What: A two-hour cocktail event featuring six of Bar Manager Ryan Csanky’s Asian-inspired cocktails paired with Chinese-American-themed appetizers from Executive Chef Dustin Clark like “Char Siu Steam Buns of Steel” and “Is It Crab or Raccoon?”
When: Saturday, May 25 from 4 to 6 pm.  
Where: Wildwood, 1221 NW Overton St.
How Much: $35 per person in advance or $40 at the door. All tickets include cocktails, appetizers, and gratuity and can be purchased by emailing [email protected].

Wine Dazed and Dogfused at SE Wine Collective

What: Celebrate the start of grilling season at SE Wine Collective’s inaugural Memorial Day Weekend event. Sip and savor new releases from collective member wineries (Vincent Wine Company, Fullerton Wines, Helioterra Wines, Bow & Arrow, Division Winemaking Co.) alongside Olympic Provisions frankfurters.
When: Saturday, May 25 from 4 to 7 pm.
Where: SE Wine Collective, 2425 SE 35th Pl
How Much: $12 per person in advance via Eventbrite or $15 at the door. Tickets include wine tasting, grilled dogs, and deviled eggs.

Bazi Bierbrasserie’s 2 Year Anniversary

What: Bazi is celebrating its two year anniversary with two days of festivities. Special Belgian-inspired libations will be available like Double Mountain’s limited edition Four Horsemen Series as well as the Forbidden Fruit saison, a black currant beer made in collaboration with Lompoc Brewing.
When: Sunday, May 26 from 4 to 10pm and Monday, May 27 at 5 pm.
Where: Bazi Bierbrasserie, 1522 SE 32nd Ave
How Much: Free.  

Voodoo Doughnut’s 10 Year Anniversary Party

What: The makers of Portland’s beloved bacon maple bar are turning ten. To celebrate, Voodoo Doughnuts is hosting live music, performance acts, and “special guests” at both Portland locations.
When: Saturday, June 1 from 2 to 4 pm.
Where: Both Portland Voodoo Doughnut locations, 22 SW 3rd Ave and 1501 NE Davis St
How Much: Free.

Grassa Preview Dinner with Portland Food Adventures

What: Preview and prepare pasta from Lardo Chef Rick Gencarelli’s upcoming spot Grassa. Attendees will get a hands-on pasta-making lesson from Gencarelli himself then enjoy a multiple-course meal family-style.
When: Wednesday, June 5 at 6:00 pm.
Where: Grassa, 1212 SW Washington St
How Much: $75 per person (includes multiple-course meal, beverages, and fresh pasta and sauce to take home). Tickets available via Brown Paper Tickets

Jacobsen Salt Co. Dinner Series Kickoff with Clyde Common & Breakside Brewery

What: Join Clyde Common Executive Chef Chris DiMinno and Breakside Brewing at Jacobsen Salt Co.’s inaugural dinner series event at their new production facility in Tillamook. Menu details are still under wraps but expect delicious food and brews with complimentary bay views.  
When: Saturday, June 8 at 5:30 pm.
Where: Jacobsen Salt Co., 9810 Whiskey Creek Rd Tillamook, OR 
How Much: $100 per person includes four courses and beer pairings from Breakside Brewing. Tickets available via Eventbrite.
