Southeast

←Harlow debuts on Hawthorne: The team behind the Pearl District's vegan eatery Prasad have opened Harlow, their eat-side, all-gluten-free, vegetarian restaurant in the former BridgePort Ale House space. Harlow offers breakfast (think scrambles, oatmeal banana walnut pancakes, and parfaits topped with GF granola), lunch (quinoa-based veggie bowls, raw salads, and vegan mac & cheese), dinner (raw veggie burgers and barbecue tempeh), and drinks (both boozy and non, like on-tap Soma Kombucha) from the smoothie bar. Harlow is open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm. 3632 SE Hawthorne Blvd

2nd Story to shutter: One of our favorite new brunch spots of 2013 is closing this month. 2nd Story, Erin McBride's small plates eatery above neighborhood coffee roaster Cellar Door, will close on July 20. The shutter will allow McBride to focus on providing food and pastries to the first floor coffee shop. 2005 SE 11th Ave

New Southeast Portland Brunch Services: Se Division's Xico and SE Hawthorne's Polish hub Bar Dobre will launch brunch service this weekend. Bar Dobre will be open for the morning meal Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm, and Xico will offer a range of Mexican a.m. specialties on Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm.

North

Pies for all: The brick-and-mortar outpost of Mary Sheridan's Honey Pot bakery and cafe is now open on North Mississippi. The new eatery offers all of the cart's sweet and savory pies, full espresso service, and an expanded menu—and the Honey Pot cart on SE Belmont remains open. The new bakery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 7 am to 6 pm; Friday from 7 am to 9 pm; Saturday from 8 am to 9 pm, and Sunday from 8 am to 7 pm. 4220 N Mississippi Ave

Southwest

Korkage reopens in Hillsdale: As previously reported, Tamairah Boleyn and Earl Johnson's Korkage Wine Bar and Shop has relocated across Capitol Highway into the former Three Square Grill space, and is set to reopen on July 10. Full expanded hours and a new menu will roll out over the next few weeks. 6320 SW Capitol Highway

The Festival Circuit

Pickathon's food and drink menus revealed: Dozens of great local and national bands aren't the only draw to the annual Pickathon festival at Pendarvis Farm—the food and drink are pretty great, too. The roots music festival's just-released edible lineup (notably served on 100% reusable, non-plastic dishes) is set to include Pine State Biscuits, Bunk Sandwiches, Boke Bowl, KOi Fusion, Kure Juice Bar, Bambuza, Lauretta Jean's, Al Forno Ferruzza, Viva Vegetarian, Kuza Burger, Fifty Licks, Thai Seasons, and Eatin' Alive. Drinks will be provided by the likes of Hopworks Urban Brewery, Fort George Brewery, Full Sail Brewing Company, Wandering Aengus Ciderworks,  House Spirits Distillery, GoodLife Brewing Company, Three Creeks Brewing Company, Ninkasi Brewing Company, and Crux Fermentation Project. Still need tickets to the weekend fest? Find 'em here.
