Bazi's 3rd Anniversary and World Cup Sendoff Party

What: Happy birthday Bazi! Sample the much-anticipated Forbidden Fruit saison from last year's anniversary party that has since been aging in French oak pinot noir barrels. Taste the aged and non-aged saisons side by side, plus complimentary cake and, at 7 pm, watch the USMNT match against Azerbaijan on the big screen.

Finnriver Cider Dinner at Harvester Brewing Gastropub

What: Looking to expand your cider palate this season? A special dinner hosted by Finnriver Farm & Cidery, an organic family farm and winery in Chimacum, Washington, at Harvester Brewing Gastropub may be just the answer. Patrons will be treated to five courses of gluten-free goodness paired with a specially selected Finnriver cider.

Nomad PDX Dinner at Carmella’s

What: With a new monthly dinner series, former Castagna sous chef Ryan Fox brings modernism, foraging, local artists, and guest cooks to the same table, at changing locations (read more on Eat Beat). This month, the party's at Carmella’s, featuring wine and beverage pairings from Carmella as well as custom plates by artist, Mikayla Bateman.

Nodoguro June Dinners

What: Former Masu chef Ryan Roadhouse is bringing his ingredient-driven sosaku ryori, creative Japanese cuisine, to Portland’s pop-up scene. This nine-course dinner (plus tea service) will be held two nights in a row every two weeks with the menu selected only days ahead of time to ensure the freshest ingredients from the sea.

4th Annual Salt and Straw Dinner

What: A 4-year-old Portland tradition is back again! Salt and Straw ice cream will team up with Jenn Louis at Lincoln Restaurant to create a unique culinary experience of cool treats and delicious eats. On this year’s menu? Chilled clams and mussels cocktail, avocado “dip and dots,” pork osso buco with fennel salsa verde, and rum and allspice dram ice cream with rhubarb and red wine.

D-Day 70th Anniversary Normandy Feast

What: In honor of the Battle of Normandy, Executive Chef Philippe Boulot will prepare a three-course meal of classic Normandy dishes including Tarte Flambée from St. Honoré Boulangerie, cider braised pork cheeks, and macarons.

Lardo Chefwich Party

What: Revisit all six chefs personal Chefwiches as they vie for major bragging rights. Mini versions of each Chefwich will be available, plus 15 different brews on tap from Crux. Vote for your favorite! The winner’s charity receives a portion of all proceeds.
