Salt & Straw’s new campfire flavors are meant to evoke summertime nostalgia.

Haven’t been able to snag a highly coveted camping spot this summer, when the low-risk outdoor activity is hotter than ever? Me neither. But if you’ve got FOMO for camping cuisine (Hot dogs! Chili! Trail mix! Freeze-dried turkey tetrazzini from a bag!), Portland-based scoop shop Salt & Straw is dropping three new camping-inspired ice cream flavors today. Warning: it’s probably a lot bougier than anything you’ve ever eaten at a campground before, but we're into these promo shots.

Meanwhile, Salted Hazelnut Praline S’mores dares to attempt to improve on a campfire classic, with house-made vanilla bean marshmallows, chocolate pudding ganache, and crunchy praline graham crackers.
These summertime-only flavors are available by the scoop or by the pint at all West Coast Salt & Straw locations—including its four Portland-area locations—until September 10, with the option to order online for pickup or delivery. (Note: We were startled to see these labeled on the S&S site as “Portland Monthly Flavors,” but they are merely flavors available for the month in Portland.)
