If you are a fan of design blogs, chances are you have Remodelista bookmarked. The blog’s understated, elegant brand of modern style has rightly earned them renown. This Saturday, June 4, Remodelista’s pulling together some of their favorite local artisans to showcase their wares from 11am to 4pm at the new Schoolhouse Electric Factory at 2181 NW Nicolai Street in Portland.
Come check out delicate fluttering paper mobiles by frazier & wing, hand blended limited-edition fragrances from Olo, with blends like Leisure Nomad, (citrus, rose, cedar, fire tree) and Forêt, (pine, juniper, cedar, and vetivert), serenely beautiful brushed-white porcelain shapes by Lilith Rockett, and letterpress stationery by Egg Press. Others among the 20-plus participants will include Alder & Co., Bakeshop by Kim Boyce,, Makelike Design,, and Yolo Colorhouse.
So stop on by, grab a cup of coffee from Ristretto Roasters, and some food from the food carts (KOi fusion and Oregon Ice Works) parked outside. Then stroll inside (it’s free to get in) and indulge in some excellent shopping, stocking up for birthdays and holidays—or simply taking home a few things for yourself.
