Wish you could give back to the amazing nonprofits doing vital work in our communities? Join the Portland Monthly Staff and star Portlanders to celebrate the individuals and organizations making Portland a better place to live, love, and grow at our 11th annual Light a Fire awards dinner on October 20.

Over the past decade, Portland Monthly’s Light a Fire awards have honored more than 150 organizations and individuals in the nonprofit community, all dedicated to making Portland more prosperous, beautiful, healthful, and sustainable—in a word, better—for all of our citizens. This year, join us as we continue the tradition—and be among the first to hear the incredible stories of this year's honorees, from the best new nonprofit to extraordinary volunteer and the lifetime achievement award.

The 2015 Light a Fire Awards, presented by Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, will be held at Portland Art Museum on Tuesday, October 20, from 6 to 9 pm, and will include celebratory cocktails, dinner, live entertainment, and an awards ceremony. In addition, one of the honorees will be awarded the evening’s proceeds, determined by an audience vote.

Don't miss out on this incredible night! Tables of six and individual tickets are available at now.

Light a Fire is generously presented by Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, and supported by Coca Cola, Nike, The Standard, and Packouz Jewelers.
