Gabriel Granillo is an associate editor at Portland Monthly, where he writes news and features about travel & outdoors and health & wellness. He also manages the magazine's Midbook section, which highlights Portland-area makers and creators. He has a degree in journalism from Northern Arizona University, and spent two years as a writer/editor at Flagstaff Live!, Mountain Living Magazine, and the Arizona Daily Sun before joining the Portland Monthly team.
