In case you haven’t gotten your fashion fill yet, here is another opportunity. An exhibit of photographer Ed Kavishe’s best runway images from around the world will be on display this month at the Art Institute of Portland’s gallery. Kavishe is the stylin’ man behind Fashion Wire Press a media company with top notch fashion week photos and video from the most important design related events in the world. His work has been featured in top publications such as Vogue UK, Elle.com, Marie Claire, The Daily Front Row and his constant Facebook status updates from parties with celebrities and champagne make me routinely jealous. The exhibit runs through the end of the month but a special artist reception with Ed will be held this Sunday from 1-2pm. He just happens to be visiting as the special in-house photographers for our own Portland Fashion Week, and we are pretty lucky to have him.
