If you are a lover of denim, Blake is your destination. A store specializing in the hallowed land of jeans, their new location is having a grand opening tonight as part of First Thursday. The things we love about grand openings will be present – music, food, drinks and a yo-yo expert. Wait, what? I hope they are not kidding about that as I happen to love all things yo-yo. (I have a Smothers Brothers ‘How to Yo-Yo’ tape on VHS somewhere to prove it.) There is also a raffle for some jeans and Doc Martens. 10% of all proceeds will be going to the Pixie Project. The denim selection here for men and women is some of the most varied in town, plus word on the street is owner Blake Nieman-Davis can size you up and lead you to the perfect pair in seconds flat. Yes please!

P.S. They have a parking lot right in the middle of the land of parallel street parking.
