Dawn Sharp Goes Puritan
Local designer debuts her pious fall collection.
Last weekend the Portland Design Collective threw a little fashion show in house with some attractive folks in the audience, a good music selection and hot clothes. Literally, hot clothes as it was a fall collection. Dawn Sharp’s collection was subdued and subtle for the usually vibrant designer, but the genius is in the little details. Fitted pieces with thoughtful ruffled edges and just a hint of Pilgrim took a basic look into something far more interesting.
