Looks like Fremont has another cute shop to its name. Rachel Robichaud, designer of local jewelry line Plume, has opened a new gift shop, Bridge City Mercantile, featuring a small collection of handpicked gifts.

Robichaud says her goal was to offer “a distinctive mix of refined, functional items along with playfully whimsical ones and wanted a store where people could find them all in one place.”  Bridge City Mercantile showcases international designers like Jonathan Adler and Thomas Paul to local artists Frawn, Talia Designs and Little Bay Root in items rangingfrom accessories to art and housewares.
