You don’t have to be a future bride (or even know one for that matter) to enjoy the gorgeous gowns floating down the runway at Sunday’s annual A Novel Romance fashion show. Back for another year, local bridal boutique The English Department curates the show with beautiful looks from in-house designer Elizabeth Dye’s stunning line in addition to pieces from big names like Nicole Miller, Jenny Yoo, and Ivy & Aster.

In a special coincidence this year, two of the best bridal events in town converge with the Novel Romance show wrapping up right as Portland Bride & Groom’s Rocked at the Nines gets rolling just down the street. Grab your engaged girlfriend and spend the day touring all the bridal sites Portland has to offer. It’ll be far more entertaining than a trip to a big box store out in the ‘burbs.
