Portland Fashion & Style awards
Saturday, October 26, 7pm
Scottish Rite - Ainsworth Event Center 709 SW 15th
Tickets: $25–$98 at Brownpaperticket.com
Back for it’s second year and with a slightly tweaked format, the Portland Fashion & Style Awards sashay at us on Saturday October 26th. After some first year growing pains producer Ann Akre has taken some great steps this year towards legitimizing the process of choosing winners with recognizable judges like First Lady Nancy Hales, Portland Sewing owner Sharon Blair and local designer Alyson Clair. While some names have snuck through that seem a little too green to be up there (and some I’ve never heard of) most on the list are deservedly there and worthy of a fancy event to spread the love.
And hey! We’re up for being best fashion publication. That’s pretty swell. Put on your best and walk down the red carpet for a night of Pdx glitz and glam.
