Yesterday Haze Launch
Thursday, September 18, 5-8pm
Amelia, 2230 NE Alberta St
The latest decadent scent from local perfumers Imaginary Authors launches Thursday evening at Alberta shop Amelia. IA treats each scent as novel creating an author, back story, and quotes for each. In the case of the fig-based Yesterday Haze we learn that "author" Lenora Blumberg is credited with the scent. "A Californian through and through, Blumberg’s early stories invoke the innocence of picnics in the park, days whiled away picking plums in the orchard, and warm nights cruising canyon roads with the top down. After Violet Disguise was adapted for the screen Blumberg spent several years consorting with Hollywood’s elite but abandoned the glitz for a quiet life on a plum orchard in the Ojai Valley."
For a chance to get your nose on the newest Imaginary Authors fragrance: Yesterday Haze, have a Haze inspired cocktail and take home a sample, pop by Amelia Thursday.
