Northwest

NW Thurman: Chef Erin Williams at Olympic Provisions Northwest is departing the charcuterie hot spot. In her place, Colin Stafford (current Olympic Provisions Southeast Sous Chef and the mastermind behind the eatery's brunch menu) will take over the Italian-centric Northwest menu. 1632 Northwest Thurman Street

NW Upshur: Wine Country favorite Scott Paul Wines (local vintner and direct importer of top domaines in Burgundy and Champagne) opened its Scott Paul PDX wine event space in Northwest Portland late last year for occasional tastings and seminars, and will now open every Friday night, 5-8 pm, beginning September 7th. Friday nights will often involve a special guest or a new release. Check out the Scott Paul website for future events. 2537 Northwest Upshur Street

Southwest

SW Broadway: Vitaly Paley and Benjamin Bettinger's new venture Imperial is set to debut September 12th, but has announced two days of soft opening preview meals on September 10th and 11th. Reservations are open to the public and are available by calling 503-228-7222. 400 SW Broadway

SW Broadway: Park Kitchen chef David Padberg is set to leave the kitchen he's helmed for eight years to debut Raven & Rose, the new restaurant set to open in the Ladd Carriage House. John Gorham is also on board as a menu consultant. According to the Oregonian, the 70-seat gastropub will feature two bars with leather sofas, free pool, and fireplaces, and is set to open late this year. 1331 SW Broadway

North

N Mississippi: Lauded PDX chef John Gorham has left Interurban, the neighborhood tavern he opened with Kurt Huffman and Dan Hart (of Prost!) in December 2011, to focus on opening a second location of Tasty N Sons and finish his Toro Bravo cookbook. Huffman left the venture early on, and with Gorham's departure Hart remains the sole owner. Interurban has earned accolades for its stand-out brunch service and under-the-radar relaxed vibe. 4057 N Mississippi Ave
