Muselet Restaurant & Wine Bar will open early December with an 80-seat dining room featuring seasonal Oregon ingredients, French technique, and global inspiration. The kitchen is helmed by William Harper, former sous chef at the recently shuttered Noisette and a partner behind Ippai, the kaiseki pop up. Soon, Starbucks customers in Portland will be able to order their coffee ahead of time and skip the line, using a new “pay ahead” app for smartphones. Portland is the guinea pig city for the new mobile initiative, which rolls out nation-wide in 2015.
