Inside P.R.E.A.M.’s Pizza Party HQ
As Eat Beat reported in early April, P.R.E.A.M.—the pizza pop-up turned brick-and-mortar from former Ned Luddites Nicholas Ford and Brandon Gomez—will open its doors next week (a few days later than anticipated) owing to some last-minute tweaks.
After a series of sold-out test dinners, Ford and Gomez are ready to go. They’ve got the Gianni Acunto oven stoked up to 900-degrees, carbonated soda fountain cocktails fizzling over in the freezer, and a wickedly good playlist queued up over the sound system. Whether P.R.E.A.M. makes it into the pantheon of great Portland pizzerias is still to be determined. But one thing is for certain: this is a pizza party like you’ve never experienced.
While you wait for the doors to open, click the slideshow above for a tour of the new space and for a first taste of the farm-fresh, wood-fired menu, exclusively on Eat Beat.
