Breakside Brewery to Open in Northwest Portland

Breakside Brewery is quickly earning its stripes as one of Oregon’s best. Born in 2010 as a small Woodlawn neighborhood brewpub, they’ve since opened a second facility and taproom in Milwaukie, cranking out over 100 new flavors a year and leaving a trail of awards in their wake. (Portland Monthly included two of Breakside's beers in its list of the 25 Best Beers in Oregon). Now, they’re headed to Portland’s center, with a 5,000 square-foot brewpub set to open on Northwest 22nd and Raleigh in early summer 2016.
The new Slabtown space will sit across from the just-built New Seasons Marketplace, with help from local design firm Green Gables. Breakside hopes to create 75 new jobs and promises an outdoor patio and mezzanine for Portland’s newly prolonged summer weather. More information as it becomes available.
