Solestruck Raising Money for Philippines Typhoon Relief

Compassion is always in fashion. And the creative heads at Solestruck know that better than most. With some serious shoe ties to the country, they've taken up the cause of raising $40,000 (in conjunction with MercyCorps) for the survivors of the massive storm that recently ravaged the Philippines, matching each donation dollar for dollar. Help them get there.
Message from Solestruck Brand Manager/Creative Director Ty McBride
In the past 18 months, I've traveled to Manila twice to organize photo shoots, meet the local creatives and buying product from our Filipino brands such as GOLD DOT, MONSTER SHOES and OS ACCESSORIES. During this time, I've completely fallen in love with the Filipino culture, people and spirit. Our work relationships have turned into friendships, and visits to the country turned from far-from-home business trips to a mix of pleasure, fun and a culture totally unlike what I am used to in the States. Solestruck's Manila projects have become fan favorites, and the collections sourced from the Philippines have become style staples with some of our most forward clients.
When Super Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Phillipines, destroyed much of the country, and stole lives of the innocent, we felt compelled to do what we could--even from 6,500 miles away. Solestruck is partnering with Portland charity and relief organization Mercy Corps to raise much needed funds for the relief efforts that will be going on for months to come. In addition to sending our love and positive spirits, we are working on a cash donation for Mercy Corps' Filipino relief work. We're reaching out to you for help!
Simply click below to make a donation, and Solestruck will match your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $20,000. (That's a possible donation total of $40,000!) You can track our progress toward the goal here on the Solestruck Mercy Corps fundraising page.
Thank you for your support of all we do and our effort to give back to a country which has inspired us so much in the last year.
On behalf of the entire Solestruck Team, thank you for your donations.
