UPDATE: FINAL SALE Pearl Boutique Eden to Close Following a Mega Sale

The west side's "Garden of Opulent Curiosities" is going out of business—and selling off everything in the shop at slashed prices.

In today's bummer news, the best-named store in Portland (yes, because it's my name, too) is closing after three years of curating a wild collection of furniture, clothing, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind finds.

Owner Cindy Rokoff brought us North Mississippi "found objects and clutter" shop Flutter and its unique brand of charm years ago, before opening Eden's "Garden of Opulent Curiosities" in 2011. Rokoff has decided to take a well-deserved break from the small business life and is closing the shop—but not before letting her great goods go at ridiculous prices. Currently all items—including furniture, displays, dress forms—are all slashed to 40% off with prices increasingly going down to clear out the space. Get in there and grab a piece of Pearl history before it's gone for good.

Oh, and those of you who are frequent visitors and are wondering what will happen to Rizzo the beautiful store cat who spends most days lounging in the window entertaining passers by: never fear, she's moving next door to purr at Porch Light.

UPDATE: Eden will have it's final sale this Saturday, July 12 beginning at 9 am with all items priced to move. Last chance deals on everything in the shop, including displays.
