Having kicked around Portland outfitting both boys and girls with accessories made from materials such as exotic wood and shed elk antlers, the crew at Sticks & Stones are moving on up to their own shop.
On Friday, January 30 stop into the new digs in the historic 618 Building on NW 6th Avenue to celebrate the launch. The new location offers complete customization on all jewelry. Whether it’s something engraved, an added gemstone, or even customer-supplied materials with significant meaning, the new shop is all about you.
Sunday, January 25, 2–6:30pm
3587 NE Prescott St.
Vintage poster restorer Jason Leonard purchased a 1924 grocery store two years ago and has been working to update it since. Now that the building’s stunning minimalist makeover is complete, it boasts multiple titles: the location of Leonard’s restoration company The Affiche Studio, a gallery, a location for pop up dinners and fashion shoots—the list goes on.
See the pretty space for yourself at this weekend’s official launch party.

OMSI gets into the fashion game? This weekend a mix of new designers in town, a couple of Washingtonians, and a few regulars to the style scene all come together for a night at OMSI in an event billed as Fashion Meets Film. The fashion part is self-explanatory; the film part comes from pre-recorded segments with the designers talking about their process and inspiration.
