Hotel Vintage Hosts Charity Wine Auction
Local wine-themed Hotel Vintage is teaming up with its local wine partners to host a 13-day wine auction. Over 70 donated bottles—including Scott Paul Audrey’s and Chehalem Ridgecrest Vineyards’ Mugnum (retailed at $250 and $150, respectively), —will be up for bid during the daily wine hour as well as online. All proceeds support !Salud! — a charity that helps Oregon seasonal vineyard workers access healthcare services.

The fruit brandy aficionados at Stone Barn are holding an open house, serving complimentary tasting flights of their winter releases, with an all pinot noir port, straight rye with chocolate malt, and this year's Nocino. They’ll also have their full lineup—quince liquor to pear brandy—for last-minute holiday gifts.

Refugee Bake Sale at Pip’s
The folks behind Pip’s Original (makers of delicious mini-doughnuts), are throwing a bake sale in support of Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS), which works to save Syrian refugees at sea. Attendees will be treated with sips from Union Wine and Water Avenue Coffee, along with a raffle with prizes from Marshall’s Haute Sauce, Masala Pop, and many other Portland artisans and eateries.

Burnside Brewing’s 5th Anniversary
To mark their fifth year of award-winning beer-making, Burnside Brewing is holding an open house and serving pork five ways—each paired with its appropriate brew. We’re talking pig ear terrine, porchetta sliders, and chilaquiles. Bonus: the first 250 guests receive a special commemorative goblet.
