A Tuscan Gelato Party, Korean Food Festival, and More Portland Food Events
Tuscan Gelato Extavaganza
What: Tuscan expats Paolo Calamai (Burrasca) and Sandro Paolini (Pinolo Gelato) celebrate their homeland with gelato collaborations—chiefly, a marsala-infused zabaione flavor (a traditional custard dessert), made exclusively for Burrasca. The duo will also be serving gelato floats, using Pinolo flavors like stracciatella and lemon sorbetto.

Let’s Do Breakfast, Oregon!
What: Feast Portland and Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon are launching a matching challenge to end childhood hunger in Oregon. All donations will be matched dollar for dollar, with proceeds going to nourishing student breakfasts. Afterwards, stop by at the annual charity where Clyde Common’s Carlo Lamagna and Olympia Oyster Bar’s Maylin Chavez will participate in a mini version of Chopped.

Organic Beer Fest 2016
What: What started as a private organic brewing symposium at the Lucky Lab back in 2002 is now a movement 42 breweries, cideries, and meaderies strong. At the 12th annual Organic Beer Fest, formerly known as the North American Organic Brewers Festival, patrons can savor 55 creations, with styles ranging from wild chaga mushroom ales to coffee-brewed blondes.

2nd Portland Korean Food Festival
What: As Portland’s Korean food scene slowly gains momentum, the secondnd annual Korean Festival becomes more relevant than ever. Expect 12 major local chefs, with bites from Kim Jong Grillin’s Han Ly Hwang, Han Oak’s Peter Cho, and Seattle bigwig Rachel Yang (Revelry).

Grand Aioli with Castagna’s Justin Woodward
What: Portland Food Adventures dines with celebrated modernist Justin Woodward for a take on France’s aioli-centric, late harvest festival. Roast pork, Oregon Albacore, fresh Oregon vegetables, stone fruit and more will be served at Café Castagna. As always, guests leave with a handful of gift certificates, this month to Nodoguro, Bit House Saloon, and Trifecta Annex at Pine Street Market.
