Harvest at The Bindery Launches Farm-Fresh Vegan Brunch
Here’s a recipe for y’all: Add one part Southern cooking, one part Northwest bounty, and one part Portland brunch culture. Carefully remove any animal products (bye-bye, bacon!) and mix the remaining ingredients until thoroughly combined.
Congratulations! You’ve just made Harvest at The Bindery’s new brunch menu.
Nestled in NE Sandy’s eclectic Bindery building, Harvest debuted its root-to-tip fare in March, serving up Texas-inspired flavors in the style of an organic farming commune—think charred sweet potatoes, vegan tamales, and trumpet mushrooms slathered in barbecue sauce. When the eatery quietly stopped its lunch service after two months, it pacified patrons with talk of a new menu showcasing Portland’s favorite meal. That promise comes true on June 27, when Harvest debuts its unique brand of plant-based brunch fare.
Service is slated to run weekends from 9 am to 3 pm, featuring a lengthy list of cocktails, juices, veggie-centric sides and classic Sunday morning comfort food. So what does farm-fresh, plant-based, South by Northwest country brunch look like? We don't want to spoil the surprise... click through our slide show below for an exclusive first look!
