There, two talented, board-certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Kathleen Waldorf and Dr. Rachel Streu, lead a dedicated and caring team of professionals that will make every effort to ensure your experience is comfortable and informative.
Dr. Streu certainly embraced the creative aspects of helping men and women achieve their cosmetic goals early on. She began her unorthodox journey to medicine with a Fine Arts Degree at the University of Michigan, before eventually pivoting to her surgical training at Wayne State University School of Medicine and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. On the other hand, Dr. Waldorf earned her medical education at Georgetown University, before serving a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University.
The duo’s combined expertise, plus the collective skills of certified physician assistants, nurse practitioners, BSN-level registered nurses, medical assistants and aestheticians makes a wide range of procedures possible, from breast augmentation to non-surgical BOTOX® Cosmetic injections or laser hair removal. “We advocate natural-looking results that improve your appearance enough that people say, ‘You look great! Did you change your hair?’ but never, ‘Did you have work done?’” explains Waldorf.
Their certified surgical suite, the Wilshire Surgery Center, is onsite, and additional techniques are offered in The Waldorf Center’s Medispa. “Our experienced aestheticians offer services such as specialty facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, HydraFacial and DermaFrac™,” says Waldorf. “In addition, our licensed aestheticians are experts in our medical-grade skincare products and can help you define your at-home regimen.” With the Waldorf Essentials: Beauty Club Membership, staff will help tailor a personal cosmetic treatment plan that can provide beautiful, long-term results.
